The scholarship offered by the Brunei Darussalam University is a fully funded program so it provides the following benefits to the selected students;
- Tuition fee waiver
- Monthly subsistence allowance of up to 2200.00 BND for the duration of 36 months.
- Accommodation facility on campus for the duration of the degree program
- One round trip economy class airfare tickets Provision
- Field research allowance of up to 1000.00 BND
- Science field candidates will receive a research allowance of up to 2000.00 BND.
Degree level:
The University of Brunei offers the scholarship to graduate students in three following categories, each has its own respective duration:
- Master by Coursework: twelve (12) months of full-time study or eighteen (18) months, depending on the specific program.
- Master by Research: twenty-four (24) months of full-time study.
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.): thirty-six (36) months of full-time study or sixty (60) months of part-time study, depending on the program.
