Eligibility Criteria:

Masters Degree

International & European Union Students
Students can apply for the scholarship at the start or end of the first semester.
Evidence of the Bachelor’s degree program.
German language proficiency certificate (Level B2 or DSH2).
Conformation of university admission must be submitted with the application.

Ph.D. Program

Criteria for international students who have secured a degree outside Germany.
Proof of admission to a Doctoral program at a recognized university in Germany or other state-recognized institutes.
German language proficiency certificate (Level B2 or DSH2).

Scholarship Coverage

The scholarship coverage for the master’s degree program is:

EU Nationals

A monthly stipend of €812 plus €300 study costs allowance per month and can include family and health allowance.

NON-EU Nationals

A monthly stipend of €934 with other additional allowance possibly for health insurance.

The scholarship coverage for the PhD degree program is:

EU Nationals

A monthly stipend of €1350 with €100 extra allowance for the research costs.

Non-EU Nationals

A monthly stipend of €1,200 with €100 mobility allowance per month.
