There are three types of Scholarships provided by the Shanghai Government, such as;

It offers a Fully Funded Scholarship Program, which covers full tuition fees, accommodation, medical insurance, and food expenses.

#2. China Europe International Business School
The Scholarship at China Europe International Business School is offered to full-time students.
#3. Donghua University.
It offers programs such as; economics, management, Chinese language, law, and international relations. It also offers Master’s level degree programs in the English language, MPA programs, MBA programs, and Ph.D. programs.
Deadline: 31st March 2023.
#4. The East China University of Science.
The ECUST offers Scholarships to undergraduate students. It covers the expenses of two semesters, including tuition fees and living costs.

#5. Shanghai Maritime University.
This University offers three types of scholarships: sponsored research scholarships, merit scholarships, and special scholarships for outstanding students.

#6. Sanda University.
It offers Scholarships to undergraduate students. Sanda University requires IELTS/TOEFL. It is a Fully Funded Scholarship Program.

#7. Shanghai Dianji University.
Shanghai Dianji University offers fully funded scholarships for undergraduate and graduate programs.

#8. NYU Shanghai.
They offer Scholarships to undergraduate, Master’s, and Ph.D. level students. Every year, $10,000 worth of scholarships are given to students.

Tonji university offers a funded Scholarship Program for all international candidates. They offer a monthly stipend of ¥100 with free accommodation.

SUITE is a private University in China that offers Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. level programs.

How to apply for Shanghai Government Scholarships?
Follow the easy steps given below;
- STEP 1 – Create an account on the Shanghai Provincial Government portal. Fill out the application form, select the Scholarship category, and submit the documents and application.
- STEP 2 – Select any Shanghai university and submit the admission form.
- STEP 3 – make two sets of documents, one for the Shanghai scholarship and the second for the University’s admission, and mail them to the University.
- STEP 4 – wait for an interview call.
- STEP 5 – if you have been approved, prepare for a Chinese student visa.
