The University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarship in Japan are fully funded and give the following benefits to the selected students, such as;

- Master’s students will receive 144,000 yen per month.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the University of Tokyo MEXT Scholarships, all applicants must fulfil the following criteria;
- Must achieve 2.30 or higher grades.
- Must have excellent academic records.
- Must belong to MEXT member countries.
- Must be born before 2nd April 1989.
- Must have completed their degree in the field related to the programs you are applying.
- Must be proficient in English or Japanese language.
- Must have obtained student visa before visiting Japan.
