Application call for the CERN Technical Studentship Program 2025: The studentship program is offered for international students who are currently pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and want to gain real-world practical work experience. The duration of the CERN studentship program is 3 to 4 months, during which the participants will have an opportunity to work at the cutting edge of technologies and broaden their knowledge in their respective domains.  CERN will cover all the costs related to the program, including a Monthly stipend, Air Travel Tickets, Health insurance, and much more. CERN has announced Technical Student Openings in multiple domains covering Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil), Applied Physics, IT, Mathematics, and Robotics. Each year, the panel of CERN experts typically selects 80 students for the studentship program. This is your chance to work in a unique environment under the supervision of the CERN experts. We encourage all international students to apply for the program. There is No Application Fee associated with applying. The last date is March 3rd, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the internship, you are required to fulfill the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Citizens of CERN/Associate member states are eligible to apply
  • Academic Status: Students pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Student Status: Must be a full-time registered student
  • Language: Have a good knowledge of English or French language

Program Benefits

  • Interns will receive a stipend of 3452 Swiss Francs per month
  • 1-12 months contract of association
  • Air Allowance that covers economy class airfare tickets
  • Comprehensive Health Allowance
  • The additional allowance varies depending on your circumstances, e.g., you are Married or have children.
