Applications are open to apply for the KAIST KAI-X Summer Research Internship 2025. KAIST is offering a fully funded 7 weeks internship program for international students that will be held at the Research Labs of the KAIST Campus at Daejon, South Korea. This is an exciting opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students who want to gain research experience in state-of-the-art labs under the supervision of renowned faculty members.
The KAIST-KAI X Research Internship usually runs from July to August 2025. Selected participants will be allocated to one laboratory out of the three preferences they mentioned in the application and will engage in research activities throughout the period. The internship covers various fields: Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Medical Science, and Brain and Cognitive Science. Students with an Academic background in these fields are invited to submit applications.
No application fee will be charged to any candidate applying for the internship, and this is a fully funded internship in South Korea. The KAIST Advanced Institute will cover all the expenses of selected participants for the internship duration. This is your chance to spend this summer in South Korea and gain valuable knowledge and research skills; therefore, don’t miss out. Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: The internship is accepting applications from all nationals
- Degree Level: Undergraduate (3rd or 4th Year) and Masters students are eligible to apply
- Study Areas: Students pursuing their education in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Medical Sciences, Cognitive Science, Chemistry and Physics.
Internship Support:
- Air Travel Allowance of up to 1 million KRW
- Dormitory costs not exceeding 500,000 KRW
- A stipend of 500,000 KRW to cover living expenses

How to Apply for KAI-X Research Internship 2025?
