Program Dates
- The summer program will commence from June – August 2024.
Program Duration
- The duration of the program is 2 months.
CERN Summer Students Program 2024 Benefits
- A contract of association of 2 months to work on IT Projects.
- An allowance of 92 CHF /day to cover your costs.
- A Travel allowance is paid at the end of the stay.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Students enrolled in Master’s & bachelor’s degrees are eligible for the CERN Program.
- By Summer 2024, you must have completed at least 6 semesters of full-time studies.
- Students must have a strong computing profile.
- Applicants from any country can apply for the program.
- Applicants must not have worked previously with CERN.
- Good knowledge of English and knowledge of the French language would be a plus.

- An Updated CV.
- Copy of recent Academic Transcript must overview your marks.
- One or two Reference letters.
Clearly label your documents (e.g. “CV”, “Motivation letter”, “Academic transcript”, etc.) & in PDF to complete the application.
How to Apply for CERN Students Programme?
All interested candidates need to apply online, please make sure you have all the application documents before applying because once your application is submitted you can not edit it again. Only reference letters need to be submitted afterward.
After successful submission of the application, you will receive an email that contains a link forward that link to your referee to upload your recommendation letter.
