KOICA scholarship is offering fully funded Master’s & Doctorate programs in multiple partner universities in South Korea that are participating in the scholarship.

KOICA is offering scholarships in a wide range of academic fields and majors offered at multiple institutes. You just need to select the university that interests you. The scholarship covers Tuition Fees, Airfare, Accommodation, Competition Grants, and much more which we will discuss later in this post. About KOICA

KOICA also known as Korea International Cooperation Agency is a government agency that was established in 1991. KOICA is responsible for providing grant aid programs in Korea. KOICA aims to build friendly and cooperative relationships with the partnered universities by promoting socio-economic development.

Other than the scholarship program KOICA is also involved in providing multiple other opportunities as well like Humanitarian assistance, the Korea Volunteer Dispatching program, and much more.

About KOICA Scholarship

The scholarship is offered for students belonging to the KOICA developing countries. For the Academic session 2024 KOICA is offering 20 master’s degree Programs and 5 Doctoral Degree programs. Right now the announcement is made for the 15 programs later in March 10 more programs will be added.

Scholarship Benefits

Economy class airfare tickets.
Settlement allowance of KRW 600,000/ONCE for Masters.
Settlement allowance of KRW 1,200,000/ONCE for Doctoral.
Full Amount Tuition Fees.
Monthly Allowance of KRW 999,000/Per month.
Participating in Extracurricular activities like Korean Language classes, Study visits, and workshops.
Accommodation at University Dormitory.
Scholarship completion Grant of KRW 300,000/ONCE for Masters and KRW 600,000/ONCE for Doctoral.
National Health Insurance of KRW 79,210/Per month.
Private Medical Insurance for unexpected illness.

Note: KOICA covers the expenses mentioned above, expenses other than these like transportation, visa expenses, and stop-over expenses are not covered.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must come from the above-mentioned countries to apply.
Candidates Preferably under the age of 40.
Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
Disable applicants with good mental and physical health can apply.
Applicant must have secured the required degree by 31-01-2024.
Strong command of the English language.
Holding Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from recognized institutes.
Public Official or Public Affiliated Worker.
